Bringing COVID-19 Vaccines and Medical Care to People Experiencing Homelessness

Working in partnership with Care Beyond the Boulevard, we’ve established a recurring health clinic at Independence Boulevard Christian Church to serve homeless and at-risk populations. The clinic — located at 606 Gladstone Blvd, Kansas City — takes place every Monday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Hepatitis A and COVID-19 vaccines are available at the clinic, in addition to acute and routine care provided by Care Beyond the Boulevard. Services provided are free and require no insurance nor any documents of any kind. The clinic is open to everyone. Patients can simply walk up and receive the care they need.

Hot meals, hygiene products, clothing, and other support items (blankets, sleeping bags, and tents) will also be available, provided by Micah Ministry

Care Beyond the Boulevard provides high-quality medical and mental health care and support to the homeless and under-served populations of Kansas City. The organization takes health care outside the traditional bounds by bringing its clinic to the streets and helping to fill the health care gap for Kansas City’s homeless residents.
