Naloxone (also known as Narcan) is a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses and save lives. One naloxone kit includes two doses of naloxone nasal spray, a CPR face shield, fentanyl test strips, and other resources.

Opioid Facts & Resources
In Missouri, the number of non-heroin opioid overdose deaths nearly tripled between 2016 and 2021. More recently, there’s been a sharp increase in overdose deaths involving a synthetic opioid called fentanyl. Even a tiny amount of fentanyl can be fatal.
