Bluebox: Free Goods for Your Health
Your health matters—no questions asked. That’s why JCPH is proud to introduce Bluebox, a new kind of vending machine stocked with free health and wellness supplies, available 24/7.
What is a Bluebox?
Bluebox is a self-serve vending machine that provides health items—anonymously and free of charge. Each Bluebox can be customized to meet specific community needs.

How it Works
Bluebox is simple to use — no ID, no cost, no judgment. Just what you need, when you need it.
- Select the item you need from the touchscreen menu.
- Enter your zip code.
- Press the check mark icon.
- PUSH to receive your item instantly. It’s that easy.
Free naloxone kits are available at JCPH and in the community!
In addition to Bluebox, JCPH offers free naloxone access points in many locations throughout eastern Jackson County.
Naloxone (also known as Narcan) is a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses and save lives. Our access points are stocked with naloxone nasal spray, fentanyl test strips, and overdose response guides. Check out our interactive map to find a naloxone access point near you.
Find More Resources
If you’re struggling to afford housing, food, utilities, or other basic needs, our community health workers can connect you to local resources. Visit JCPH.org/connect-here and fill out our social needs assessment form to get started.
Bring Bluebox to your community!
Community input plays a part in Bluebox placement. Where do you want to see Bluebox next? Your response will be considered for planning in 2026 and beyond.
When you host a Bluebox, you expand access to free health goods for clients and residents in your area. That means being a part of the change to lower overdose deaths, STI rates, and slow the spread of respiratory illnesses in your neighborhood.
Complete a quick form and we’ll reach out with more information.
