COVID-19 Vaccine Options
NOTE: This COVID-19 post is over a year old and may contain outdated information. It has been left up for archival purposes only. For the most up-to-date information on masking, vaccines, and more, visit the CDC’s website.
Everyone 6 months and older is eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, and there are several options available.
Thousands of COVID-19 vaccine appointments are open in Jackson County, and many sites are offering walk-in vaccination. The vaccines are always free, and most clinics do not require ID or insurance.
How to get vaccinated
Option 1: Through the Jackson County Health Department
We offer COVID-19 vaccines every weekday at our Independence clinic, in addition to clinics at community events. Tap the button to see all our upcoming clinics.
Option 2: At a pharmacy or healthcare provider
Many local pharmacies and healthcare providers also have available appointments. Call your primary care provider to see if they’re offering the COVID-19 vaccine. Or, find a vaccine provider near you by entering your zip code in the CDC’s Vaccine Finder.
Option 3: Schedule by phone
If you need help finding or setting up a COVID-19 vaccine appointment, you can call:
