Building a Healthier Jackson County
Across the region, communities are organizing to address health inequities and to improve health. The Building a Healthier Jackson County initiative was founded in 2018 to identify and address some of the root causes of poor health in Eastern Jackson County by harnessing the collective impact of all of us.
Adult Brain Injury (ABI) Program
The ABI Program assists Missouri residents, ages 21 to 65, who are living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Through service coordination, the program links individuals to resources to enable each person to obtain goals of independent living, community participation, and employment.
Prescription Drug Monitoring Program
The Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (or PDMP) monitors the prescribing and dispensing of schedule II-IV controlled substances to assist in the identification and prevention of prescription drug misuse and abuse.
